A buffet arranged for a corporate reception, with the room set for guests

The impression a reception leaves is not decided by the food alone.

What shapes the impression of an event is not only how the food tastes, but how smoothly it is served, how easily guests can move, how well venue conditions are handled, and whether the day runs as planned.

HKG builds every reception around the food, while also confirming the purpose of the gathering, the guests attending, and the conditions of the venue — so that the day proceeds with confidence.

Occasions

For corporate receptions, brand events, and international gatherings.

01

Internal and external corporate receptions

02

Brand events and product launches

03

Gatherings hosting overseas guests

04

Events with executives or key clients present

05

06

Corporate events held at rented venues

For events tied to your company's reputation or a host's standing, what matters most on the day is not only how impressive the food looks, but how steadily everything proceeds.

HKG tailors each reception to its purpose and its guests — never relying on spectacle for its own sake, but building something you can trust to go well.

01

Confirming the details

We confirm, in advance, the guest count, venue, delivery conditions, service timing, and who will be attending — everything that affects how the food and drink will be served on the day.

02

Designing the service

We design not only the menu, but the drinks, the method of service, the placement of service staff, and the flow of guests as they are served — the full arrangement for serving food and drink on the day.

03

Overseeing service on the day

On the day, we track preparation, delivery, and setup through to service, overseeing the food, drink, and service staff in step with how the event unfolds.

Confidentiality

Corporate engagements, handled with discretion.

Most of the corporate work HKG takes on involves company names, venues, and guests that call for discretion. For that reason, we do not, as a rule, publish the names of individual clients or events.

When you contact us, we are glad to share past examples of our work to the extent that circumstances allow.

Where a kitchen or other facilities already exist at your venue, we make use of them. Where they do not, we arrange the equipment, delivery method, and service structure needed for cooking and service. The right approach depends on power supply, water access, open-flame rules, and delivery routes, so please contact us even before a venue is decided.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you accommodate a venue without kitchen facilities?

Yes — after confirming your venue's conditions, we propose a workable approach. Where a kitchen or similar facility exists, we make use of it; where it does not, we arrange the equipment, delivery method, and service structure needed. The right approach depends on power supply, water access, open-flame rules, and delivery routes, so please reach out even before your venue is decided.

Can you also arrange drinks, service staff, and equipment?

Yes. Beyond the food, we can arrange drinks, service staff, tableware and glassware, the equipment needed for cooking and service, and delivery and setup, tailored to your event. We confirm what is already available at your venue, clarify what HKG will need to provide, and share an estimate accordingly.

Can you accommodate allergies or religious dietary restrictions?

Yes, to the extent possible, once we have confirmed the details in advance. If you have guests with allergies, or who are vegetarian, vegan, or observe religious dietary restrictions, please let us know the number of guests affected and the specific requirements. How we can accommodate this depends on the details and our cooking environment, so please raise it as early as possible.
For serious allergies, we treat safety as the first priority and confirm our cooking environment and what we can accommodate on a case-by-case basis.

Is there a guest count you typically work with?

We accommodate everything from an intimate, important dinner to a corporate reception of around 200 guests. There is no minimum guest count. We will confirm the details of your event, venue conditions, and preferred date before advising further, so please reach out even for a small gathering.

What happens if the event details or guest count change?

We confirm the change and let you know how it affects the food, drinks, staffing, and equipment involved. Depending on the timing and nature of the change, additional costs or a cancellation fee may apply, so please let us know as soon as a change becomes likely.

Can you accommodate events that require confidentiality?

Yes. We regularly support engagements that call for discretion — executive dinners, internal company events, and gatherings tied to projects not yet announced publicly. We take care in how we handle information learned at the venue or about your guests, and where needed, we brief our staff in advance on what may be shared and how they should conduct themselves on the day. If a non-disclosure agreement is required, please raise this with us in advance.
